Sister: Hannah Mcfarlin- Teacher Personality: A self-described political liberal and is known to get into public debates over what he believes. He supported President Barack Obama during Obama's campaign run in the 2008 presidential election. A local newspaper asked him once if he would ever run for an office and Dylan replied, "Run for office? No. I've slept with too many women, I've smoked too much pot , and I've been to too many parties." He is very loyal. He can be a great friend, and a great listener, but he tells it like it is. He does not 'beat around the bush, He has no problem with giving advice, even if he's not asked. . His sense of humor is somewhat sarcastic. He made a few mistakes in his life but for the most part he is happy about the choices he had mad. He is always first to buy the beer Bio: Mcfarlin was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on the Gulf Coast His father was in the US Air Force, and the family moved often when he was a child. He learned to ride horses while visiting his grandparents on their Texas farm. At age 13, Mcfarlin participated in his first rodeo, riding in Denison, Texas, and before long was winning junior rodeo competitions. Brian loved the redoes and they took up most of his attention that and chasing after girls. His father who was a rodeo star before joining the air force knew first hand what a hard life a rodeo cowboy lead having lost his wife a time or town as well as going broke investing in training and equipment. Not wanting that for Brian, he encouraged his son to look at other sports as well. Brian was an ok student in middle school but teachers noted his propensity for clowning around rather than studying. After his parents divorced Brain hardly ever seen his father who had left the military and was now working as a police officer. His mother moved him and his older sister to Bonita, California where he attended Helix High School for his junior and senior years. Brian was president of his senior class in high school, and was an excellent student who graduated with a 4.4 GPA one semester early by earning college credits through a program with San Diego State University. Brain was offered a scholarship to play baseball at the University of San Francisco. He was disappointed not to be accepted into the University of South California be he grew to love the University of San Francisco. It was due mostly to his roommate Kenny Moretti. Who was a sophomore when Brian was a freshman. Kenny showed Brain all of the hottest spots in San Francisco and got him into the wildest frat parties. Kenny was a catcher, Brain was a pitcher, and then two could read each other mind. Brain did not have any brothers just a bossy older sister so it was cool to have a person he could click with like a brother. After Kenny graduated, he asked Brain if he would not mind keeping an eye out for on his little sister who was going to be attending the Art Academy that fall. Brain was glad to do it. He spent half of his summer showing Kenli around the city and helping her get settle in before went to Biloxi to spend time with his father as he did every summer. That fall he lost touch with Kenli, she never called needing anything so he just assumed she was ok. Plus baseball and volunteering at an after school program at an elementary school so he could gain some teaching experience working with youth in a teaching capacity. One day while working at the after school programs a friend and fellow teacher in the program told him about this hot girl he had been talking to. He wanted to take her out Sunday night but she would not go unless she could find a date for her friend. Brain hated blind dates and refused. His friend spent a week talking him into it. Brain told his friend that he had tickets to the San Francisco 49ers St. Louis Rams game, which is one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL. He agreed to go on the date and warn his friend that he could not stay out to late cause he wanted to see the game. Brain went to pick up his date and was surprised to find that it was Kenli. The date was one of the worst dates of his life. He was in a hurry so manors were thrown out of the window. He rushed her into his truck and hurried to the restaurant. While everyone else was talking and eating their food he woofed his down paid for his and Kenli meal and rushed her home. They agreed to meet again next Saturday night but Brain stood her up to play a pick up game of basketball inside the school’s gym. Kenli was upset and made Brain took her looking for him. She marched into the gym while a baggy shorts and shirtless Brain was playing basketball and started to fuss at him. Brain could not help but to notice how cute, she looked while she was letting him have it. Brain did his best to turn on the charm and got her to agree to go out on another date with him. This time Brain was his normal self witty and charming but he didn’t win Kenli over easily after months of dating and a little begging she finally decided to be his girlfriend. They dated for three and a half years until they got into a huge fight. She wouldn’t returns any of Brain’s calls so Brain went to her apartment only to find her roommate The two of them started talking about Kenli and the roommate acted as if she really cared . She broke out a bottle of tequila and the two started to drink while he waited for Kenli but one thing lead to another and Brain went to her bedroom and started to sleep with her. Kenli came home and caught them. She was heartbroken. Brain was heartbroken as well he was upset that he allowed a drunken fling to ruin a good thing. Brain gradated with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and physical education. However, he found himself being drafted by the Atlanta Braves. However, instead of joining their minor league team to begin his rookie training he joined the army wanting to help do his part on the war on terror. His family was shocked and disappointed but they did support him. After severing in Afghanistan and Iraq hew returned to the United States and was surprised to learn that the Atlanta Braves was willing to give him another chance he passed their physical and workouts and was sent to the Carolina League a "High A" league, indicating its status as a Class A league with the highest level of competition within that classification. Most major-league teams still use such leagues as a standard promotion step. A few draftees, generally those taken in the early rounds of the draft and those with significant college experience, will be assigned to a High-A team upon signing a professional contract. He was place on the Crocker Park Braves, which meant he had to move to Crocker Park having no idea that Kenli the girl that got away was living and working there. | |||||||||
